Effective risk management requires identification of litigation prone areas and implementation of preventative or corrective actions throughout a facility. This webinar will assist long term care facilities on how to integrate two systems; risk management and quality assurance and performance improvement to target common risk areas such as; falls and falls with injury, Pressure Injuries, malnutrition & hydration, medication errors, wandering/elopement, change in condition, skin issues, including but not limited to infections. These process will aid in providing quality care and promote patient safety, hence avoiding litigation.
